Of course I'm still around. I just don't have anything to say about politics right now. That is, nothing that hasn't already been said over and over and over again.
If you'd like to follow me in other areas you can do so at Southern Sinful Bliss or follow me on Twitter.
I'm NOT shutting down this blog just yet. I still am passionate about politics but it is all in the timing I guess.
Thanks for the concern.

Who Divided When? | 6 Outbursts from the crowd»
So let me ask you something.....when, how, and why did the political parties get divided into rich white christians vs. uncivilized heathenistic liberals?
Long ago this must have happened, where someone once said - "Republicans were the rich and white Christians while all Democrats are now the tree-loving heathenistic hippies."
When did this happen? Why did this happen?
Quite frankly I'm sick of it. I may be white but I'm not rich and I may be Christian but I am not the fanatics the other side makes us all out to be. So in saying that I am sure there has to be at least ONE Democrat out there who is normal and NOT as I described above. Where is he/she?
I mean surely this was not how it was a long long time ago in a far away land when we were young? Perhaps this name-calling, finger-pointing, label-making times started to take place in the 60's? No? Before then? Someone tell me please, and while you are at it please justify our behavior.
And by the way, totally off topic, does Barry know that Kentucky is a state in the U.S? He's going off to camp david while the snow and ice ridden state tries to dig itself out. And where is the outrage in all of this? You notice no one has said one single word about it all being Barry's fault or asks him what he is doing out to help, why did FEMA take so long to get there, and blah blah blah. Unlike the liberals when Katrina hit Louisiana. Yeah. I thought so.

Settling In | 6 Outbursts from the crowd»
The world isn't coming to an end after all. I have settled down a little. I may have over reacted a little. Heh. Whatever.
I've been watching a little bit of news and trying to keep up with some politics.
I'm happy to see that Michael Steele, a young fresh face, is our new Republican Chair. I hope he can inject some freshness into this party. I have confidence that he will. We are in good hands and I feel I can breathe a little better today because of it.
At any rate, I've been busy doing other things too. And speaking of which, I need to get back to it.
So....later folks.

Our Troops | 0 Outbursts from the crowd»
America is dead. Folks, the America we once knew is no more.
Now more than ever I want the troops to come home. All of them.
With this muslim-loving, terrorist-tolerant man who is now a president of the 50 states I fear for our troops even more. He wants to pull our troops home, leaving "support" troops behind, and probably unprotected.
We need every single military person here on our own soil now to fight for us.

Inauguration Day | 3 Outbursts from the crowd»
OK folks. Hold on because it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Listen, I'm just not feelin' it lately. So I don't know when I will post again. It has been one of the most depressing days for me. I can't blog when I am feeling this low. I don't know when I'll be back to make an entry.
Eventually, I'm sure that the mood will strike again. We shall see.
But for now, peace out.

Our Great Depression | 4 Outbursts from the crowd»
I keep hearing the term "Great Depression" being thrown around like beach ball at a rock concert. Are we really in a depression? When was the last time you stood in a cheese and bread line? Yeah, I didn't think so.
And if we are in such a great depression then why are people giving Barry O. $50,000.00 for his big party? I believe that is the minimum amount one can give in order to do whatever $50,000.00 gets you these days from an inauguration party.
It really is quite sickening.
If Barry and his ilk were really serious about "stimulating" this down economy then they'd make dear Shelly pay for her ball gown. You know Shelly O. won't be paying a dime for that damn thing - the designer will give it to her. And yet they are all raking in the dollars? So what gives? People are giving them money and ball gowns and who knows whatever else.
I don't want to hear one more word about this "great depression" that we are all in. It's an insult.

Top Ten List | 2 Outbursts from the crowd»
For your Sunday perusal we have the top ten worst dictator list.
I never knew there was a list. Or let me re-phrase, I never knew there was such a LONG list. I'm floored, really.
This makes me think (which can be dangerous most of the time) but if 9/11 had not happened then we will still be lounging around, standing by KNOWING that Saddam was killing people - and nothing - we would STILL be lounging around getting fat. Spoiled little bratty fat belly-aching selfish children we have become.
The Gary Sinise special was on Fox News this morning when I woke up. I started watching. At one point Gary and his crew were taken to a bombed out and abandoned palace of Saddam's. It was one of the palaces that was still being built when he was in power. Apparently, the workers were not working fast enough and Saddam would bring them in, line them up and shoot them! He would kill them!! My brain STILL can't process that.
And we KNEW this was happening all along? And we know it is happening with OTHER dictators as well, right now? I think that makes us just as guilty, that we know it is going on, and we stand by and do nothing. Shame on us!

Glenn Beck | 2 Outbursts from the crowd»
Geez, talk about a lucky break - Glenn Beck.
He's such a drama queen it's not even funny and I am upset that he is now going to be on Fox.
Fox just lost a little bit of respect from me. Oh I'll still watch Fox News but I'll limit my viewing to certain programs and Glenn Beck won't be one of them.
Beck is just a shoot from the hip kind of guy - the extreme right wing fanatics will love him I'm sure. Then again, they may get jealous of him real fast because here comes another no-experience-lucked-out-shrilling kind of person treading on their territory - Malkin.
Oh no, I just had a horrendous thought; what if Fox creates a new show for Malkin and Beck to be on together. You know, the new and fresh Hannity and Combs. NO!!!!!!
Seriously Fox - bring in some level headed experienced real JOURNALISTS please.

I reckon Vanity Fair will no longer be in circulation come January 20th for what will they have to write about with their new found savior - Obama?
They can suck it.
