The world isn't coming to an end after all. I have settled down a little. I may have over reacted a little. Heh. Whatever.
I've been watching a little bit of news and trying to keep up with some politics.
I'm happy to see that Michael Steele, a young fresh face, is our new Republican Chair. I hope he can inject some freshness into this party. I have confidence that he will. We are in good hands and I feel I can breathe a little better today because of it.
At any rate, I've been busy doing other things too. And speaking of which, I need to get back to it.
So....later folks.

Each day I just keep speaking out...but I also know this whole thing unfortuantely has to play out...glad you have taken a deep breath.

Michael Steele doesn't inspire me and is too moderate. I feel this is a case of oh we have one too. I have listned to him on Bill Bennett's Morning in America, and I am just not impressed. He seems like more of the same.

Yes we will make it :). I think having Steele as the RNC chair will be a great thing.
Hey I found you on the Read My Lipstick Network (of which I'm now a member). I've subscribed to your blog and would just like to invite you to check my blog out - http://caffeinatedthoughts.com

Clay - I know what you mean. In fact, I had a conversation with another conservative earlier and they were all excited about Steele. I asked, "do you like him only because he's black?" It just seemed like SOME Republicans wanted him because he was black. Which is sad. But I'm going to give him a chance. We shall see. I like him because he's YOUNG and SEEMS fresh; and of course I like the fact that some of it is the same ole same ole. I don't think we need to "rebuild" the party - but just tweak it a bit instead. Of course we need to keep our basic foundation.

Tired of crooks being placed in positions of importance? Tired of tax evaders getting great jobs instead of prison time like we would?
Then go to my blog and copy the letter I have written and send it to YOUR Senator or write your own and use mine as an idea on how to get started.
It is outrageous that Tom Daschel stands to walk into a Cabinet job as the second tax evader to work in this current Administration.
If you don’t write and complain you shouldn’t ever complain about your taxes again.
